The tardigrades are coming! Also known as water bears or moss piglets, the tardigrade was the inspiration for the Water Drop Dome project, and a key feature of this year’s Halloween Art & Nature festival at the Atelier de la Nature. My 3D printer is steady cranking out tardigrade figures as promotional items for visitors to the installation. At 2” long these are about 30 x the size of an actual water bear!
